Advanced Certificate in Crisis Management

In the wake of numerous troubling or tragic events, the need for counselors, student affairs professionals, school administrators, public officials, human resource professionals, first responders, and clergy to effectively manage potential mental health crises has never been more pressing.

Compounding this imperative is the challenge to do more with fewer resources in stringent economic times. In response to the need to continuously develop policies and procedures to mitigate risk—physical, emotional, and legal—in school and community agencies, as well as to insure the safety of all, LIU Hudson has developed an innovative and timely program.
