Applying for aid is one of the most important steps students and families can take to pay for college. Completing the online FAFSA—the Free Application for Federal Student Aid—will help us determine which loan, grant, student employment and other types of aid are right for you.
Scholarships and grants are forms of gift aid: They don’t need to be repaid. LIU offers a generous variety of need- and merit-based awards. You can also explore outside scholarships and federal and state grants—all which could help reduce your tuition costs.
